About Jodiha
Jodiha was set up in Manchester in 2022 by a small crew who had spent years working on scaffolding and access equipment for other contractors. The idea was straightforward: local property owners and managers needed someone who could clean a rendered facade or a slate roof without causing damage, and who would turn up when they said they would. Four years on, that is still the basis of the work we do.
We started with two vans and a handful of contracts around the city centre. Today the team has grown to 20 people covering 7 districts across Manchester and the surrounding areas. Over that time we have completed 967 jobs for 640 clients, and 146 of them have called us back for a second project - usually a different building, or a follow-up clean a year or two later.
What We Set Out to Do
Our aim is simple: keep facades and roofs in Manchester in a condition where the building material lasts as long as it should. Brick, stone, render and roof tiles all suffer when moss, algae, soot and general grime are left untreated for years. We look at each surface, work out what caused the build-up, and choose a method that removes it without stripping or eroding what is underneath.
We are not trying to be the biggest cleaning firm in the North West. We would rather keep a team that knows every street we work on, understands the difference between Victorian brick and modern render, and can explain to a client exactly why a soft-wash approach suits their roof better than a pressure wash.
